Application zones in a variable-rate application map may extend beyond the field boundary visually. This is normal and required so that the terminal can read the application map correctly.
YaraPlus Atfarm handles these edge areas with its boundary handling algorithm. If part of an application zone lies outside the field boundary, the nitrogen rate is calculated only for the part of the zone that lies within the field.
This means that areas outside the field boundary aren't included in the rate calculation, even if the zone extends beyond the field edge.
To create an accurate application map, make sure your field boundary is drawn correctly and that non-crop areas are excluded.
