If the N-Tester BT doesn't turn on when you press the ON/OFF button, or if it switches off during use, the batteries may be inserted incorrectly or may be empty. A red flashing LED during initialisation will indicate this.
Proceed as follows to check the battery placement and replace the batteries if necessary:
- Open the battery compartment by unscrewing the four screws with a PH1 screwdriver.
- Check battery alignment and bend the battery contacts slightly towards the batteries.
- If the last step didn't work, replace the batteries with 2 x AA (LR06) alkaline (non-rechargeable).
- Dispose of empty batteries at a collection point.
- Close the battery compartment.
- Restart the measurement in the YaraPlus mobile app.
- Press the ON/OFF button of the N-Tester BT only when prompted by the app (after entering field data).
