How can I edit the field boundary?

You can adjust the boundaries of one or more fields using the YaraPlus web app on your web or mobile browser, as explained below. This is not possible in the YaraPlus mobile app.

Note: Boundaries of fields with existing crop data, such as target yield, soil profile, fertiliser applications and measurements, can't be edited. To edit the boundary, end the crop period.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Click on the Farm dropdown in the header, then select Manage farms.
  2. Select the desired farm in the farm overview.
  3. Click the three dots next to the desired field, then select Edit field.
  4. Locate the field on the map*.
    • Move and zoom the map:
      • Web: Drag with your mouse, scroll, or use the + / - buttons.
      • Mobile: Drag the map or pinch to zoom.
  5. Edit the boundary using the tools below the map:

    • Exclude area: Draw an inner border to exclude non-productive areas (e.g., trees, lagoons). Trace the field boundary by clicking points on the map, then click on the starting point to complete the shape.
    • Delete point: Click on a boundary point to remove it.
    • Reset: Discard all changes.
  6. Web: Click Update to save your edits. / Mobile: Swipe up the bottom sheet, then tip Update to save your edits.
  7. If necessary, select another field from the list to edit its boundary.
  8. Click Done to return to the field overview.

*The map is provided by Mapbox. Their imagery is updated every few years. Land use changes over time, and not all fields are up to date from any mapping provider. Nevertheless, you can still create the field for accurate recommendations.
